AmeriCorps have featured Notre Dame Mission Volunteers (NDMV) for their community-building impact nationwide. Nearly 300 AmeriCorps members serve with NDMV annually as tutors, mentors, and classroom assistants, supporting education and job readiness programs.
"AmeriCorps members have carried forward the vision of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur: to bring education, opportunity, and hope to communities across the country," said Ted Miles, NDMV Executive Director.
The feature highlights service activities, including MLK Day work in California and packing 17,800 meals with Rise Against Hunger.
