Hearts as Wide as the World: Celebrating Catholic Sisters Week
Throughout the year, women religious stand alongside people who are made poor, educate children, battle injustice and foster hope in communities worldwide.
This Catholic Sisters Week (March 8-14), we celebrate the profound impact of women religious through the #LikeaCatholicSister campaign. This nationwide initiative challenges outdated stereotypes by showcasing the dynamic ways Sisters serve today.
As Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, we live simply and joyously in St. Julie's footsteps, spreading God's goodness beyond boundaries of nation, state and tribe. We emphasize education, especially for women and children who are made poor, ministering where others may not choose to go.
Catholic Sisters have always been forces of change — breaking barriers, advocating for justice and fostering spiritual growth. Their presence remains a source of strength and transformation in communities that deeply need compassion and leadership.
We invite you to reflect on how you, too, make a difference.
With you, we change lives
With the support of generous friends like you, we are able to continue our mission of educating and taking a stand with those in poverty— especially women and children.
