With deep gratitude, we are blessed to share the story of the beautiful Our Lady of Guadalupe wood carving, now installed at the entrance of the Province Office. This carving is a testament to faith, love, and devotion, designed and handcrafted by Leonard Trujillo as a heartfelt gift from the Trujillo family in honor of their parents.

Standing at our front entrance, Our Lady welcomes all who come to Mount Notre Dame, reminding us of her constant presence and protection. As the patroness of our community, she is a symbol of hope, compassion, and care for all creation. While the carving settles into place, we ask that you admire it from a respectful distance as we await the moment to unveil this sacred work fully.

We are especially grateful to Rebecca and Marna Trujillo, whose dedication made this offering possible, even though they couldn’t be with us in person. Their spirit is with us today as we join together in blessing this sacred gift, which will serve as a reminder of Mary’s love and guidance.

May Our Lady of Guadalupe continue to walk with us as we carry our community's burdens and hopes forward, faithfully living out our mission of justice, peace, and care for all God’s creation.
