Live The Good Opportunity Queen City Book Bank
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur invite you to join our next family-friendly Live The Good opportunity at Queen City Book Bank. Committed to developing literacy for all, Queen City Book Bank exists to get the right books and resources to the children who need them most.
Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of tasks such as book sorting and stickering, pulling book orders and boxing them for delivery, as well as stocking shelves. All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. If under the age of 16, there must be a youth to adult ratio of 5:1.
We will open our time together with prayer and conclude with reflection and discussion.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
In addition to volunteering, we are collecting new or gently used books (age pre-K through 6th grade). They are especially in need of books that include diverse characters and experiences.
Donations can be delivered to Queen City Book Bank, or to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur at the address below. Julie Hall is the second set of glass doors. There is a bin in the vestibule located just inside the glass doors. Please include your name so we can properly thank you.
